Uncategorized After much speculation, Jeremy Hunt has now confirmed that the UK’s centuries- old remittance basis of taxation will be abolished. In its place, a ‘modernised residence-based regime’ has been proposed which aims to be simpler, fairer and more competitive’ will be introduced from April 2025.
