Our team are qualified UK and US tax experts, undertaking regular continuing professional development and keeping on top of their game through membership of specialist technical tax groups.

Mission

At Sestini & Co we deliver superlative cross-border and expat tax services to high-net-worth individuals, Family Offices, and organisations with complex tax affairs.

Growth

Founded in February 2013, Sestini & Co specialises tax consultancy for expatriates and high net worth individuals. In August 2017 the group launched Sestini & Co Pension Trustees to offer bespoke SSAS (Small Self-Administered Scheme) pension administration services. The group launched its SW1 London office in February 2022 to complement its Somerset headquarters.

We established Sestini & Co Pension Trustees Ltd to provide bespoke pension administration services to support those who wish to take control of their retirement plans.

We’re a team of pension and taxation experts, with experience in organisations such as the Big Four, private banks, and specialist Self Invested Pension Providers (SIPPs).

I set up Sestini & Co because I believe tax is ultimately about people not numbers: understanding my clients’ needs and priorities is vital to helping them make the right decisions.

Whether it’s about setting up or expanding a business abroad, working abroad or returning to the UK, or purchasing property anywhere in the world, I ensure that my clients understand the tax arrangements I recommend, and can make informed choices at every stage.

I take a highly collaborative approach to my clients’ affairs, working hand in hand with other professionals to put together the most effective and sustainable tax planning solutions. We work with a wide range of accountants locally and further afield who are seeking specialist taxation and expat expertise to complement their own services.

My experience includes over 25 years in tax, training in UK and US personal tax with PwC in London, and then as senior manager of the cross-border tax advisory team at Coutts & Co. In this position, I was able to advise a wide range of private clients on their wealth planning, working closely with their banker, financial planner and other professionals. I am CTA qualified and qualified as an enrolled agent and am a member of the Association of Independent Expatriate Tax Practitioners (AIETP). I graduated from Oxford with a degree in Mathematics.

Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT)

The CIOT is the leading body in the UK for taxation professionals dealing with all aspects of taxation. Our managers are all Chartered Tax Advisers through achieving the necessary qualifications and experience to gain CIOT membership and demonstrating the highest standards of academic achievement, ethical standards, and adherence to professional conduct in relation to taxation (PCRT).

Women in Finance (WIF)

Our commitment to the Women in Finance Charter
We signed HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter in 2016 (find out more in our blog) and are now proud to publish our gender diversity targets. We’re committing to ensure that men and women in our company are treated equally in terms of recruitment, mentoring, career development and promotion.

We provide a flexible working environment with varied working patterns and the option to work from home. When we signed up to the Charter in 2016 we had 87.5% female representation in the firm as a whole and 100% female representation in senior management. As of 30 September 2023 we still have 100% female representation in senior management – defined as MD/Director/AD level.

We are committed to our inclusive recruitment and staff development processes and to maintaining our Charter target. We have already achieved our Charter target. We pledge to maintain at least 50% of women in senior management until December 2024. Our senior managers are professionally qualified staff at associate director level and above. We are keen to retain Sestini & Co as a female-run business to provide clients and potential clients with an alternative to male-led accountancy firms.
