As well as being billed as ‘the world’s greatest airshow’ with 245 aircraft from 39 air arms representing 25 nations, the RAF Fairford Royal Air Tattoo was a fantastic opportunity to network and meet businesses in the Air Tattoo Business Club.
In addition to that, our managing director, Rachel Sestini, and head of pension operations, Samantha Hayward, had the great pleasure of meeting astronaut Major Tim Peake, the first official British astronaut to walk in space.
The Air Tattoo is one of fundraising activities run by the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (RAFCTE) which supports projects and initiatives for RAF serving personnel (both regulars and reserves), cadets and other young people.
